Beau von Barnau is a classic black and tan but on the smaller side for a German Shepherd. He is 18 months old, he is very sweet and calm for a dog his age. He is obedient and wanting to please his foster mom. He is crate trained, and potty trained. He does well on the leash, but is easily distracted so could use a little more training. He likes it in the car and is a good passenger. He is fine with cats, curious but not aggressive. He’s good with other dogs once he gets to know them a little. He is underweight, but a good eater so it won’t take long to get him to where he should be. A perfect family dog happy to play or just lay at your feet ( or on your lap if you let him). A handsome boy in a perfect sized package. As Beau’s foster mom says, “ really is turning out to be pretty wonderful”. Beau also enjoys the company of the son in the family as you can see by the pictures. Beau would be a perfect choice for a family with another mellow dog.
